Which GPA counts for admission stats?

On websites, and in magazines and books, there are rankings and admissions requirements and averages for every medical school in the country. my confusion lies within the GPA Admission Statistics. When a school lists there average GPA acceptance, is that the overall cumulative GPA of the students undergrad work or the AMCAS Version of that cumulative GPA? Any info is appreciated, Thanks.

It's the AMCAS version. Some websites will only report the science GPA, which includes BPCM classes.
