I would pick the 10-9-10 for the simple reason that some schools may screen you out with a seven.

I would definitely pick 10-9-10 and apply with it !....as the above poster said, 9 wouldn't probably be screened out but 7 is likely to be!

There's some schools up in Canada that have strict cut offs for screening. Here were the cut offs at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada.

I have a friend who scored 12-7-12 and suggested that he should retake. I wanted to see what you guys thought by comparing it to 10-9-10. He's not going to retake and is applying with the 12-7-12.

10-9-10 means you were solid across the board and just a bit over average

12-7-12 means you are book smart but have no reasoning ability and that is going to offset the total score.

As anyone on SDN can attest, you can teach someone science and raise the PS/BS scores, but it is hard to teach someone reasoning and improve VR.

Verbal = great medical student apparently.

Verbal=good reasoning skills=better doctor. People blow off the verbal section, but it's actually the most important.
