Not counting Buffalo...Which school would you go to? Specifically Columbia or Stony Brook? All ideas and opinions are appreciated ! !

What's wrong with Buffalo? I was told yesterday that it is absolutely, positively the only school to consider -- by a dentist who went there lol.

I'd say COLUMBIA ... but that's only because I want to go to Stony Brook and don't want you to take a spot away from me 😛
As for WHY Stony Brook: for me, the small class size and location is what I want in a dental school.

Well, I may be the wrong person to ask: I didn't even apply to Stony Brook, and my thoughts on Columbia are summed up in my signature. ;-)

I knew that the small-town Long Island atmosphere of Stony Brook wasn't for me, and that being part of such a small class would only make it harder. (My class of 70-odd students sometimes feels claustrophobic!) If I weren't such a city person, Stony Brook's great value for low tuition might very well have tipped the balance.
