  4. wow, northwestern is kicking FAT ASS in these polls. what's up with THAT!?!

PS, i voted NW too, but why did you

  5. Does the fact that Northwestern have a lower matching rate than George Washington and Irvine make no difference to people?

Of those 3 I would go for NUMS.

    watcha,
what do you mean by 'lower match rate' are you talking about %into top choice or % into top 3 choices, if so, this is not a very good rating of how well a school match. Schools advise their studetns which residencies to apply to, and if you don't get an interview from a top place, you don't rank it. I think NUMS matchlist is MUCH stronger than the other schools you mentioned, even if they don't get as many into their 'top choice.' It's a pretty problematic statistic, which is why actually I hear that the NRMP is not going to release that statistic anymore.

I chose NUMS, good school, great location, matches stronger than anywhere other than vandy on that list.

but I looked at the list of schools for NUMS were students matched...and there seemed to be very little ivy and UCSF type schools....I dont know

Why isn't there a "none of these" option on the poll? I thought you wanted an unbiased answer...
