Does the fact that Northwestern have a lower matching rate than George Washington and Irvine make no difference to people?

Of those 3 I would go for NUMS.

watcha,
what do you mean by 'lower match rate' are you talking about %into top choice or % into top 3 choices, if so, this is not a very good rating of how well a school match. Schools advise their studetns which residencies to apply to, and if you don't get an interview from a top place, you don't rank it. I think NUMS matchlist is MUCH stronger than the other schools you mentioned, even if they don't get as many into their 'top choice.' It's a pretty problematic statistic, which is why actually I hear that the NRMP is not going to release that statistic anymore.

I chose NUMS, good school, great location, matches stronger than anywhere other than vandy on that list.

but I looked at the list of schools for NUMS were students matched...and there seemed to be very little ivy and UCSF type schools....I dont know

Do you guys remember that it is not NUMS anymore?

:D

yah school of feinberg sigh...

I was no fan of the name NUMS...but heck school of feinbergy...sigh

Why isn't there a "none of these" option on the poll? I thought you wanted an unbiased answer...
