I got into both UCLA and Berkeley for undergrad. Which one should I go to? Convince me!
the cheaper one
I guess take the one farest from home
Why settle for the Bay Area or SoCal when New Hampshire has all those trees and... um... more trees...
You would be foolish to turn down Harvard...
hahaha most worthless advice ever
This thread has a bright future
Yeah that's true. If I learned anything during my interview trips it's that the east coast is a friggin jungle. Not that that's bad or anything (did my share of wilderness survival as a boy scout back in the day). But it was also on the east coast (I think this was in PA) when I first saw signs outside of the local store advertising for people to get their tick tweezers becuase it was that time of the year again.
You should clarify for more helpful responses. You are transferring from a JC into one of the schools, right?
it's always that time of year.
regular tweezers work fine.
You took the words right out of my mouth, errr. . . . keyboard.
Yeah, I'm transferring from a JC. I should be more clear. Here goes.
I'm the type of student thats shy, so I want to go to a place thats more welcoming(i.e easier to make friends).
Second, I care about the surrounding city. I like to go somewhere thats exciting but also safe. I heard that Berkeley was a ghetto(gang violence yikes!). But Westwood could be too expensive, making my choice a difficult one.
Third, I got more aid at UCLA. But again, westwood's cost could just eat up any financial advantage I had in the case of choosing UCLA.
Fourth, I care about research and clinical opportunities. Which one has more?
And lastly, I don't want to be totally stressed so I want to go to the easier school. Although, from what I've heard they're both the same. But Berkeley is seconded ranked in math, so it may be harder for me since I'm a math major.
Which school has the hotter girls??? I would guess UCLA so go there.
What if student12x was a girl?
oh wait... yes I agree with what Chubby said
Whichever one you feel more comfortable at.
Did you get a significant scholarship at either?
