Didn't get much feedback in allo so posting again here. Which medschools allow u to pay tuition w/ credit cards? I've heard that for schools that do, if u charge it to your credit card before the stafford loans get credited to your school account, the loan funds will be refunded to u. thus, u might be able to get frequent flier miles under certain credit cards.

for undergrad i know CMU does, and Umich will not allow it.

On a side note, if you have a citibank dividend you get 1% cash back, pretty good money when you pay 60k a year for two kids tuition.

Or the AMEX green card gives you up to 5% cash back but its on a tier structure and you can only get like 3% max on certain purchases which i believe the tuition would fall under.

While this is an interesting fact, and I'd also choose to pay using my credit card if I had a choice ...

.... you're not REALLY going to choose a med school based on whether they let you pay by credit card, right? 🙄 🙄 🙄

How long until somebody posts one of those stupid 'priceless' captions?

I'll have to start applying for different cards and work on putting myself in a new ride, having some cash in wallet, and round-trip tickets to Botswanda when I'm done with school. Peace.

Would people really use credit cards to pay their tuition? The amount you'd pay in interest would more than make up for any bonuses you'd get...

Having that much credit on a credit card can also be viewed as a negative on your credit report. Be careful!!!
