Which schools have second year class shows/reviews etc ? I know Vanderbilt , Harvard, Pittsburgh and Yale do, and I believe Penn, Hopkins and WUSTL do not.

Can anyone confirm and add to this list ?

My favorite interviewee quote so far (one interviewee to another) "It seems like the nicer the facilities, the more laid-back the students...."

    Uhhh...yeah.

I'm pretty sure most, if not all med schools have something along these lines. Your talents won't go to waste no matter where you end up.

what if your only talents aren't really appropriate and/or legal to display in public?

Haha ok, so does anybody know if Buffalo, Downstate, or Stony Brook has a talent show? This will greatly impact my decision!

After all, how am I supposed to charm the ladies without being able to show off my "mad" singing and rapping skillz?

Drexel's main talent show is the Pediatric AIDS Benefit Concert, raising money for the Pediatric AIDS Clinic at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children in North Philly. They get out at least 800 people to the event, it's a good time!

WUSTL had a freakin' musical by the students when I went to revisit last year. I would say that counts as a talent show.

Aaaand ... I know the person that named the annual Northwestern talent show ... "In vivo!" I think it was originally called "Saturday Night In Vivo!"

I know Einstein has done a few musicals -- they had one last week! (They did "A New Brain" and they were great) It was more residents, fellows, and attendings than students though.

UMiami has had one for the past three years. I don't know if one is scheduled this year.

P.S.: I won the award for "Most Likely to be on T.V." with a stand-up comedy routine.

oh, i beg to differ. Wash U has
    1. a talent show for all med students
    2. a musical including med students of all classes, PT/OT, etc
    3. Three different class shows (MS1, MS2, and MS4) which are made up of a bunch of funny skits and are usually damn good.

All med schools seem to have at least one. I think the prior poster was misinformed.

USFCOM has a once a year multicultural talent show right before the first years start their anatomy block.

USF's med school also has a prom like event called the escalapian ball and also they have their own orchestra thing.

Someone who's boyfriend goes to downstate told me that there is a play put on every year, where the students play the professors (and politely tease them).
