Which Second Look Invites has you gotten?

Just wondering...which schools have you gotten invitations to Second Look Programs? So far, I've received ones from NYU and Wash U. I'm not even sure if the other schools to where I'm holding acceptances have such programs, but I hope they do.

I got an invite from Case Western. I won't be able to go even though they offered to pay for the first $250 on a flight. Too much debt and no job is a bad combo.

UCONN - two days in March. They won't pay for transportation, but they are providing student hosts.

Still trying to decide whether or not to go.

Hmmm... now I'm confused. I have also been accepted to Case Western, but I haven't received notice of a second look weekend. When is it? Were you notified recently?

i don't think wash u has one for regular md applicants unless u are URM or invited back to interview for scholarship... i could be wrong however... i haven't received anything from them yet.

I think it's for URM students. I was notified back on 2/6. Another reason I can't go is that it overlaps with my interview to the University of Washington. Oh well. I saw Case once already. Good thing I was paying attention.

i has done gotten none of the aforementioned. maybe that's because i had done mentioned aforeplay with my interviewer..... while we were both smug about our appearances, i feel that she was like, 'yo, playa... play on. hit me up last.' that's some real deal holyfield drunk shiz on the tip.

I received a second look invitation from Northwestern for a weekend in April

I've signed up for the second look days at Upstate (4/25) and Buffalo (4/5).
Anyone else? Kinda sucks that you can't do second looks if you're waitlisted or in waiting hell... 🙁

check your email...I just got the revisit weekend invite today and I'm regular MD and god knows I'm not URM. There's also no mention of the scholarship I applied for so I guess it's not that yet either.

And HouseHead, I totally hear ya on the no second looks if your in waiting hell. I really wish I could take those second looks. Then maybe it wouldn't have to be waiting hell anymore.

The MD second look there starts April 11th I believe. They're bringing in the MD/PhDs (me and marq_bme on here) on April 10th so we can meet with faculty.

Emory's starts tomorrow...won't be able to go. Columbia's is at the end of April -- i'll be attending that one..haven't gotten details though. I won't be attending the Jeff second look.

Vandy's second look is April 4-6 and its an all expenses paid trip (even airfare)! Anyone else going? Does NYU pay for airfare?

we have great hooked on phonics courses at my med school, too bad the poster who started this thread decided that "she could find nothing to justify the cost there"!

Yes, I saw the schedule. I excited for the trip because I had a REALLY good time there during my interview visit. Almost too good of a time😉 Which of the faculty/group sessions are you going to sign up for?

Since I deferred from last year, this is my second time going.🙂 I chose Neonatal ICU and Skin Exam this year. I did Kidney Transplant last year and it was amazing.
