Which subject is most relevent to the USMLE? From what I have heard there are a lot of questions on pathology and diseases, and not too mnay questions on Neurology/Neurobiology. Anyone actually know which fields are covered most in the USMLE step 1 and which ones are covered less?

For those of you that have already taken the USMLE step 1 what subject do you feel that you should have studied more?

I haven't taken the USMLE yet, but I was pretty surprised at the amount of neurology/psych that was on my shelf exam. And I think neuroanatomy is probably the highest yield of any of the gross anatomy you'll be studying (hah, I wonder how in depth they'll be with those brainstem lesions).

The big P's are always there: path, physio and pharm.
And theres also a fairly heavy dose of biochem, immun, endo, genetics and embryology.

So basically, if you know all those COLD... yeah, you should be fine. Its a 350 question exam. They're going to ask a little bit of everything.
