A high school friend of mine wanted to know which undergrad schools have a premed committee to write you a single letter for medschool admissions. Is there a list out there that's available?

i was just telling him about the medschool admissions process and the whole deal with LORs. i think he was looking where to apply at the cali undergrad schools and a few on the east. i doubt the pre-med committee would be the deciding factor, but just something nice to know.

Hey, there's my own school also! It's California State University, Fullerton. We have a pre-med committee consisting of about ten people that will review a pre-med's volunteer, work, research, etc. experience, as well as MCAT scores and GPA. If it looks to them like a pre-med is competitive based on all of this, then they, as a committee, write a letter of recommendation. It is signed by each and every committee member and placed on top of the other LOR's when they are being sent to medical schools. So adding on to the list:
