FYI: 9 weeks to study for step 1
method #1: go through review books once, annotating 1st Aid continuously. take chapter quizzes in BRS and/or do section tests in q-bank after going through each section only once. that leaves 3-4 weeks at end to read all of 1st aid with annotations(essentially for the 1st time), take cumulative tests on each subject in q-bank and review answers.

method #2: go through review books, annotating 1st Aid, and doing quizzes. after you finish a subject, take a day at end to read that section in 1st Aid with annotations. then take a day to take a cumulative q-bank test and review answers. that would leave about 10 days before boards to review 1st aid again and do more q-bank.

so it basically comes down to when i would review the material again and take the cumulative q-bank test on that material - as i go or in the weeks just before the boards.... any opinions?

Personally, I would find method #1 more helpful, because I tend to retain more if I go over something once and then review it again a few weeks later than going over something twice in quick succession. I guess it depends on your learning style though...I don't know if one way would work better for everyone.

I'd do at least some questions before you review, that way, you can see which subject(s) you are weakest in. good luck to you
