I am sure that all of you that graduated a year , two , three... or more before deciding to apply to dental school, try to do something with your free time to train your gray matter. What books do you recommend for the future dentist, or any good books in general, or movies, shows... etc

here is my list :

1) Stiff by Mary Roach-- book about what happens to cadavers that are donated for science purposes
2) currently reading The Deception Point by Dan Brown -- but i also loved Angels and Demons, and The Da Vinchi Code
3) Shows... although they don't have any shows about dentists, I love Grey's Anatomy and Dr. House, and of course BONES.

Shows - I second the Grey's Anatomy mention. For intense drama and beautiful people watch Nip/Tuck, and for great laughs watch Scrubs.

Little Poptart, this thread is a double post. The other post by CSI Dentist has already spawned discussion.
