Hi SDN family. After viewing this site which has gotten me addicted I finally registered. I am the PelicanMan and I think that you guys are awesome.

Can the people who have gotten accepted to Pritzker please tell me your stats and also the people who have been placed on hold.

Pritzker is my number one choice and I just got placed on the alternate list today (Emory today also)

My stats are 4.0, (10, 11, 10), got lots of extracurriculars, got research, got volunteer. UF undergrad. I have only gotten 3 interviews and I applied to 15 schools. I am feeling despair. Please give me some support
Thank you guys

uhh... i have lower MCATs and a lower GPA than you and was accepted...

i had an important volunteer experience, two summers of research, published as second author on a paper and two abstracts, and various leadership positions at school (RA, etc)

well vyc it looks like your extracurriculars were the difference. I have not published any research yet but possibly when I graduate. Thanks for the quick response

how were your recommendation letters?
and what about your essay?

i'm not sure what Pritzker's policy is but if you have a recent professor who can write you another recommendation, that might be helpful...

i think my recommendations were really strong.
