Because this is SDN... one giant pissing contest.

BTW... DR. EUGENIC has all of you beat. He just got interview at all of the medical schools in the U.S. and an acceptance from Harvard already...

This is bound to change as every week goes by, but the ultimate competition will be between premed machine and Dr. Eugenic.

Teerawit: As MD/PHD applicants we can't compete until later in the season but I hear we get acceptances/rejections sooner. So there is REALLy no point in joining the competition.

That's what I like about it. It gives some leeway for filling out apps and we won't have as grueling wait times

Yeah, especially when my last PI letter won't be in for another week and a half, and I need it to be complete at several schools. it's a god send that we have more time leeway. It's our reward for all those extra essays.

Premed machine built a medical school this past summer, to which he is currently applying.

And before you ask, yes, he is also on the adcom.

the amount of interviews people have totally depends on which schools they applied to...people who applied to texas schools will probably have quite a few interviews already. but there are lots of schools that haven't even started sending out invites, so it's really hard to compare the number of invites people have received.

    Well, my tattoo DOES say

    MSAR 4 LIFE

I'm probably going to regret that later on.

I'm hoping to meet a wonderful woman named

    MBAR

so I can just change it

and she'll know how much I love her.

M8AR also works, but I don't think there are too many girls with numbers in the middle of their names.

There's an M Bar in Houston. It's actually internationally renowned, there were ones in Hong Kong and Shanghai when I went this summer. Drinks are priced through the roof though. Something like $15 for a long island ice tea.
