Who interviewed at George Wahington and hasn't heard back yet?

I interviewed on March 7th and they said the class was not full, so we were not interviewing for only waitlist spots. Darrell said it would take 6 weeks to hear, and Sunday was the end of week 6 for me. Has anyone who interviewed in March heard back yet?

And when a school says you will hear in 6 weeks, do they mean by the end of 6 weeks, or they will mail it after 6 weeks? I have ants in my pants! :wink:

I heard back after 4 weeks and was moved from the 4 yr class to one eligible for the 5 yr.

Being older and having kids this was a great option for me and GW was my first choice of schools to attend. I was told I'll hear back shortly before May 15.

I think u are either accepted or waitlisted...

I don't know anyone that has been rejected post interview from GWU...

so who knows...we might be classmates

I have relatives in NJ, driving distance from both GW and Temple, so I'd much rather be there. I also have access to my snowbird grandma's car if I'm anywhere that's driving distance to NY. I'm just anxious to hear something!

when I interviewed in december, I was told to wait 8-10weeks before hearing anything. And, I did receive my wailist letter 9 weeks later. In the meantime I alos called Darrell to ask him where my application was and he was really helpful.

I got accepted about 6 weeks after my interview at the end of Feb. I really don't think they will mail you letter on 'Day 42' exactly. More of an approximation i'm pretty sure. But I'd love to be classmates w' you and Watcha -Oneiro.
Maybe on everyones first day of class everywhere they should wear a t-shirt saying 'I'm from SDN' Hmm. Thats a good idea. Maybe I'll make them myself.

But yeah, I definitely plan to arrange a meeting with all SDNers at whatever school I end up in.

And yeah, that acceptance did bring in a flood of relief. It's just that when I post about being anxious, I usually get some good news the next day.

Ok, here's an update since I just called and spoke to Darrell. He said to wait a few more weeks and that my application is still under review. He also said that it's not me, just that the committee has been moving slowly.

I also told him that I hold an acceptance elsewhere, but I'd rather go to GW, and he talked about the rule of May 15th and that you can't hold more than one acceptance after that blah blah, so I guess it's good that I told him. He also said they accept new letters to update your file.

So if anyone's waiting on GW, wait a little longer. I was supposed to hear in 6 weeks, but now it's almost 7. At least I can stop harassing the mailroom guys for a few weeks.
