Seems to me that Dr. mom has way too much power on this website. What happened to freedom of speech. WE SHALL REVOLT, if we are not given a voice on this thread. GIVE ME LIBERTY OR GIVE ME DEATH

First, I want to know how that thread violates the terms of service. Second, I want to know how DRMOM moderated on a forum that isn't her domain. What happened to Henna?

I always thought Dr. Mom was the one to whom any complaints go when ppl click on the "report this post to a moderator" thingy (does that still exist in this new incarnation of SDN?), and that's why she's seen closing down so many threads. But that's just my guess! 😕

P.S. I wasn't the one who reported that thread, if anyone even did. Just tryin' to hash things out.

Supermoderators cover all of the forums and assist the individual forum moderators.

The thread in question singled out a single user in a poll about banning them. It is our standard procedure to close threads like this.

How are words a personal attack on someone. Not like words can physically harm someone. Much like the FCC, Dr mom has again way too much power. Where do we draw the line in the sand? Obviously if I offend Dr. Mom, he or she is just going to erase my comments.

OK, I have NO idea what thread she killed on you, and don't care.

This site is free to us because of the donations of the advertisers. They get annoyed because they're being associated with words or ideas they don't like, they'll pull out. This is NOT government censorship, it's business.

If you don't like the TOS, then start your own web site. Or, change the TOS. Or become a moderator yourself.

But please don't get yourself all pumped up with fatuous appeals against censorship. It's not the Government thats doing it, and thats what the first Amendment is about "Congress shall make no law...."

What "free speach" means is that while the government can't pull you off your soapbox, the government isn't required to give you a soapbox, either.
