passed. what were your scores.

i had 750

i almost failed. i had 670 and 650 is passing score. but i guessed on 50% of those lol. the book i read says most of the test will be on assisting the pharmacy so all i did was review the inventory and the dea forms n stuff. i didnt study the unit conversions and drugs name. my test was all math and drug names. i couldnt do the simple converting when i couldnt figure out how many ounce in to lbs ml to L etc. i still dont know how i passed. must be a miracle.

I passed !!!

One thing that i didnt like about taking the test in baltimore was that i saw alot of cheating. ALOT of it. And when i mentioned it to the test givers they didnt do jack about it.

o and i got a 739. My friend tim got a 654

That is so funny Da Alchemist. I did the same thing as you, didn't know the brand/generics or the math conversions, left 20 quest completely blank and filled in "B" for all those when time was up. . .and somehow I passed. I still don't believe it. I got a 674.

How should I study PTCB test? I am planning to take it this February. Is it computer based?

the next test is feb5 and march 9 only. i think thats what it said on the website

I took it in Baltimore, too.

My friend was with me, but I didn't realize that the questions were the same although the "versions" were different until later.

I was pretty surprised I passed, too. I only had time to study the day before the test. I went to the library and spent the entire day there. Basically just skimmed over the book. I read somewhere on here to memorize the conversions, so I did that. Calculations were the easiest part for me on the exams. I didn't memorize any drugs for it, due to the lack of time.

I'll have to check, but for some one told me it is a testing window --- meaning yo can schedule your test anytime in between those dates now that it is computerized.

So there are tests between feb 5 and march 9? thats pretty nice. how come nobody failed? lol someone must have failed atleast.

wow, I took it in Chicago and it was really strict, I mean people had an empty seat between them and there were two guys watching everyone the whole time. One dude that was taking the exam was actually escorted out because his calculator was making beeping noises. Oh, and I got a 689, just studied the conversions and skimmed the book chapters.

is it necessary to know aabout all the drugs, and is it really hard.........i missed the test this past november because my car broke down and i couldnt make it there on time..........

if u master the conversions and all kinds of calcs and know all general procedures like times for flow hood inspections, etc. THEN U DON't.

but it's good to know the drugs anyways.

I failed the recent 4/29-6/?? test. I look today and it sayed in lowercase bolded letters, colored red like this : you did not pass the 4/30 PTCE. Then a bunch of other stuff? Am I done for until next test? Do you think anyone could hire me to be just a PT in florida. I'm going to try... Oh wow, this thread is older than I thought, sorry for the bump.
