A poll would be a better idea. Believe me the postcard means nothing. They sent me the post card before they received my DAT scores.

I received one yesterday too. Do you really think that they send it to everyone? That's kinda depressing, I got excited over nothing. what about UCSF? Do they send secondaries to everyone too?

well didn't you get interviews to some schools without your dat scores? why didn't they just tell everyone to send the secondary app asap if everyone ends up getting the post card then.

Dude, you are WAY too excited about this UCLA post card. Every thread I read it seems like you're asking about it and dat student is telling you to chill out. IT'S JUST A POSTCARD. Get over it 🙂

Maybe they can't track things. I don't blame the admissions people. I've been to UCLA School of Dentistry. The admissions office is in a basement in a complicated maze. Going to the admissions office and getting out of the building, in and of itself, is a monumental task. Looks like medical school is on the street level and dental school is shoved into the basement somewhere in a corner. UCLA is one of my top 4 choices but I don't get why UCLA School of Dentistry is in the basement.

i've heard this too from someone, about it being problematic to actually get inside the the dental school

Yeah, CHS is a maze. The admissions office is on the A floor, and it's a pretty clean, nice looking office. I don't think it's that bad.

quick question: when UCLA wants you to send your transcripts, do they want them sent directly to the UCLA or do they want you to compile them and send it together with your secondary application? Thanks! I e-mailed the admissions person but no reply yet...

You must send all official transcripts directly to the admissions office.

i guess if you're still @ your school, you can get your official transcripts from the registrar's office and send it w/ your secondary application.

but students like me, who have gone to schools from norcal to socal and don't live on/near campus anymore, i have the schools send my transcripts directly to the admissions office.
