I submitted my primary recently. (10/11)
and it was mailed out on 10/26.

I just received a secondary from PCOM and CCOM today!
These are the first two, and they happen to be the ones I'm most interested in.

Now I know that NYCOM, doesn't have a secondary until you show up for an interview, ( i received their postcard today), but I was wondering which schools actually screen for secondaries?

CCOM seems to intimate in their letter that they do screen, but I'm not sure.

Thanks!

TUCOM prescreens out about 50% of the primary applicants.

Arizona, DMU, KCOM-they all screen. I'm sure alot of others do. Mostly the screen is just to check if you have the min. GPA, either a 2.75 or 2.5 is most common. I think one school has a 3.00 but I'm not sure.

TUCOM 3.0 sci and 3.0 overall

CCOM also screens, I think the criteria is the same as AZCOM. Both CCOM and AZCOM have it posted on their website.

I got my PCOM secondary, no CCOM. How much longer should I wait before I call?

My cum gpa doesn't come out above a 3.0 with my undergrad gpa, but my post bacc work and science is above a 3.0.

I know that UNECOM screens--I received secondaries from every DO school I applied to (CCOM, AZCOM, NOVA, Kirskville, DMU, UHS) before my MCAT scores were released. I didn't receive my UNE secondary until after they received my MCATs.
