Hi Gisele,

Well, I'm your future classmate for this coming year. Congrats on your acceptance.

I think it's great to meet someone who will be toughing it out with me next year.

Hey Stanford Fencer,

Congrats on UCLA by the way. I've been so busy I didn't have a chance to message you.

I hope I'm not going to have to be very brave when I go to Columbia, as I feel that dental school shouldn't be intimidating, but rather a place where us soon-to-be "professionals" can learn with each other in a good environment. Although, the students sure make it sound intimidating over there!

Whne ar eyou in chat? Are you going to come to the Predental chat on Tuesday. If so, looking forward to seeing you there.

hey buckyball.. i actually missed last tues. chat, but if there's going to be more of them, i'll be there! i chatted with you way way back, before i even had interview offers, i think... (and *you* had already gotten into columbia! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> )
i'm undecided on schools still... UCSF or UCLA for now...

Hey guys!! You can put me on board I will be starting at Columbia in the fall as well. Can't wait to get started and meet all of you!!

For all those going to Columbia Dental school can you please tell as to what they look for as far as DAT and GPA goes and what kinds of questions they ask in interview. Thanks in advance.

congrats to those who will be going to Columbia this fall. i will be joining you people as well. buckyball, so you are definitely going to columbia? as for me, i had a change of mind after meeting some first years and sorting out some financial stuff in more detail.

hey everyone! buckyball, sorry i didn't respond back to your reply.....was so bogged down with work last week! i'm really excited to meet you all in september! what did you guys decide to do about housing? i heard the dorms were pretty crappy so i thought i'd look into getting an apartment. but then again, if most of the class is going to be in the dorms, it might not be a bad idea to rough it out in the dorms.

Congrats to you all!

Question from a 2003 applicant:

What are you stats and are you a minority or out of state student?

Hoping to join your ranks!

DATMATT

definately dorming if i go there, my friend told me it's about 600 bucks for your own room (although you share coed bathrooms and lounge) but for that price I really can't pass it up!

Hey I'll be there with y'all.

I'm pretty sure i'm gonna stay in an apartment. I was looking at the convenience of having a kitchen and a living room.
I looked at the med area map, and don't see many places i could eat cheaply and healthy.

But then again, I'm not from New York so I don't know how convenient it is to buy groceries, etc.

I wonder how hard dental school is. I'm kinda cruising along at Texas A&M.

Oh by the way, anybody golf or bike?

Count me in!!!!! I look forward to meeting all of you in the fall.

tj lee,

do you ever head up to dallas? I'm up here working and will leave for NYC in august.

I'm not much of a golfer, but i like getting out there and hacking away at the ball. let me know if you're ever in my neighborhood and maybe we can hang out? if not, i'll see you in the fall.

oh oh can u guys teach me to play golf! heheh :)

I'm looking foward to seeing all you guys in the fall. And Stargirl, were in LA are you from?

i am in westwood currently finishing up at ucla :)
