Why are you applying to NYU?

Just out of curiousity, for those of you applying to NYU, why are you? What makes it stand out among other medical schools?

NYC is a big plus for me. About a fifth of my schools are in NYC.

ah, an nyu thread. i'm applying because it's a great school.

how are you all formatting the extracurricular activities section? just cutting and pasting from AMCAS, or are you doing a resume style list?

I am sort of sad that I didn't get in off of the waitlist. I thought it was a neat place to have gone when I interviewed there.

sorry to hear that jm, i'm sure you'll do great at temple though 🙂 . since you're a past applicant to nyu, how'd you format those experiences? did you just use the same descriptions that you used on your amcas app?
