So some sort of "final decision" is coming to my house...good? bad? I don't know, but it's coming in 5 business days. I would be better off not knowing this 🙁

Hi,

You're not alone. I found out on Tuesday in the same way. I still haven't gotten the official letter in the mail but it's coming!

Take my advice: Control your index finger from clicking on any thread that says "UCLA" because I have found it to be even more depressing to read about everyone else's interviews at UCLA.

there are 2 pages on the other UCLA thread entirely about how bad we feel for knowing that a decision has been sent.

just hope for the best. any radiohead fan should get an acceptance. 🙂

LOL, I didn't realize that my thread would be the official UCLA update thread. My bad 🙂🙂

P.S. And what's even more ironic is that I haven't received any word from UCLA post-secondary for the last 4.5 months....🙁

For those of you who got UCLA invites, on the applicant status page, did it give you dates to select beside the interview column? Mine doesn't say anything except that a decision letter has been sent. Does this mean I am not getting an interview then?

If I were you, I would send UCLA a letter of interest asap and try to beat their letter. If you have not yet had an interview and they are mailing to you, it cannot probably be good so this is the time to do all you can if you really want UCLA. Maybe sending an email would be faster than mail?

Are you asking the people from the 4 year old thread?

If a "final" decision has been made on your application, and you have not interviewed, there's no way that the decision could be anything other than a rejection. Sorry 🙁

Yup... this is what happened to me. I found out via status page first and got the snail mail a couple days later.

I only realized this was a 4 year old thread after I posted lol. But thanks for the replies....and yea i'm prolly not interviewing at UCLA, especially cuz i'm international. Too bad I don't live in the States, getting into med school would be a little easier.
