This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
1. job security(never get laid off)
2. usefulness of the career(you can always give people advice)
3. helping sick people
4. money

are these good reasons? i guess 2 and 3 are kinda the same

diverse array of options
cool job function

1. Being a doctor is a zillion times better than a regular desk job -- interesting diseases, interesting patients, interesting peers
2. Sense of accomplishment when helping people
3. I wont have to worry about money
4. Easy access to drugs (just kidding)

So I can get paid highly for doing thorough pelvic exams.

Because there's nothing else I feel passionate enough about to devote the rest of my life to..

You'd think having an OB/GYN as a dad would shy me away from it, seeing the absolutely horrendous life-style and all.. I think it made me even more interested..

They still tell me not to go into OB every day.. I think that makes me want to do it even more :hardy: :meanie:

It's all about the alpabet soup.

Helping sick people is overrated

1) butt implants

I plan to specialize in the Brazilian (ie t-back) look.

Be sure to get your BS in line before interviews. Cause it WILL come up.
