What's a good answer to the question, why Emory?

you said 20F is cold??? I live in Minneapolis MN and we had -33F for several days this past week. Right now it's 15F and I thank God that it's this warm~

most of the coke endowment is in stock - we do get a pretty generous amount of money but it doesn't fully support the school by any means.

you could also mention the attention to progress - the whitehead research building was just completed last year, there's a new pediatric center going up behind the emory clinic, the woodpec (PE center) is being completely renovated (if that matters to you), and they're apparently planning on doing some work on the medical school.

don't forget clairmont campus - they finished that 2 years ago. there's a ton of graduate housing over there along with a student activity center, soccer field, olympic pool, bball courts, tennis courts, etc.

the most recent thing that comes to mind is the SARS test - i can check for you but you could probably find them just as quickly as i

dont forget that they work with the CDC so emory has a significant hand in their projects too

Hey I grew up in a place hovers around 15-30 degree CELSIUS most of the time (60-85 Farenheit) 😛
