Why is TBR's CBT Biol section so ridiculously hard?? Any advice?

I tend to do pretty moderately in the bs section. Back when I was studying the first time around I was getting 9/10, with a 8 maybe once or twice.

HOWEVER, when I take the TBR cbt's I consistently get a 7 on the section. Am I just poor at this section now?? I do find the section challenging, but I don't think everyone does.

Any advice on how to improve?

TBR is notorious for having bio sections that go into way too much detail and more mental gymnastics than you see on the real exam. Use AAMC if possible instead to diagnose where you're at.

Really? I thought their Biol is supposed to be difficult so better prepare you for the MCAT?

Also, what do you think of their biol? I personally don't know if it's good or bad, but my friend took a look and said she liked it and was similar to AAMC, but others say it isn't good.
