They are attempting to mine this info from providers so they can market their eyeglass plan to prospective clients as a "medical plan". It isn't a medical plan and it doesn't cover the tests (IVFA, fundus photo, etc) normally used in the diagnosis and treatment of the above conditions. These claims should not be filed as "wellness exams", they should be billed to the health insurer.

It is deliberately false marketing.
