I have a few months to sit around in wait list purgatory... so I wanted to remind myself why on earth I'm doing this.

Oh, I have a few similar "reasons" for being a DVM ... !!! Reasons such as ...

Frastis (best lilac point siamese in the world), who helped me study:

These aren't my animals, but check out www.cuteoverload.com. It will have you going "awwwww" within 2 seconds, guaranteed! It always cheers me up when I'm having a bad day. I wish I had pictures of my dogs to put up, but I don't! I have two (dumb-as-a-post but lovable) golden retrievers that help keep me sane and remind me why I'm doing this! 🙂

Adenovirus-- what handsome dogs. The golden I had when I was younger had a proportionately larger head than your dogs', but they share a similar coat color and general appearance. The images of your dogs stir-up fonder memories than a Madeleine.

Why we are in this...

For a higher purpose.

Because some of them are just too cute!

And they just keep getting cuter!

Because sometimes you need a friend to lean on.

Because when you fall off the horse...

...you've got to get back on.

PAT - that one image of the GS puppy sitting in the nook of someone's leg has got to be one of the cutest puppy shots I've ever seen. And as you can tell from my icon, I'm also a GSD fan 🙂
Anyway... on to some of MY reasons...

...because of the cutest ugly-faces in the world... (above, my so-ugly-she's-cute albino hedgehog; below, me gluing a transmitter on an endangered Blanding's turtle)

...for those less fortunate who need some help and compassion (above, an orphaned baby squirrel I raised)

...and of course, for how darn cool it can be (me with one of our Zoo's male Bengal tigers)
