I don't know, reaching into truly disgusting orifices is in most cases gender-neutral. The difference with OB/GYN is there is an extra orifice that can be very, very disgusting, that still has to be examined, and is in fact the point of your specialty. BO is definitely not gender-specific, and I would rather not have to support a sweaty leg on each shoulder (because the patient can't hold them apart) that each weigh half as much as I do as I reach into one of those disgusting orifices dripping with green froth...you get the picture.
Plenty of disgusting aspects about certain patients of either gender, but OB/GYN pretty much guarantees at least a semi-regular occurrence of the above description, or some variation thereof....
