Hi! Just took my DAT this morning, here’s the breakdown:
PAT 22 / QR 24 / RC 22 / Bio 20 / GC 20 / OC 20
TS 20 / AA 21

I have a 3.90 gpa and around 150 hours of shadowing.
What are my chances at getting into dental school? Specifically Ohio state or schools in Texas or LECOM? (I’m an Ohio resident)

texas schools are EXTREMELY difficult to get into as an OOS
you should have a shot at OSU, have you been in contact with students/faculty/staff at the school? volunteer/shadow/attended events?
LECOM you are probably well above their gpa range
you should apply early and wisely, and you can have a successful cycle...

You need to provide more info: ► TEMPLATE: How to Format your WAMC Thread ◄
3.90 GPA from a history or english major is very different than one from a science major
Your sGPA also matters
Volunteer experience also matters

I would not recommend applying to TX schools at all if you are not a resident.

check to see how OOS friendly UFlorida is
your list has too many expensive private schools...

If you write a good statement and interview well then you have a great shot at OSU. They favor a high GPA over a high DAT, though both of yours are solid. Talked to a couple admissions people this last cycle and this is what I’ve been told.

Agreeing if you apply early and submit your supplemental early, you should have a great shot in- state. I'd also think that you should target all the other schools nearby in Michigan and Kentucky as they all seem to look at Ohio applicants. Just confirm the OOS probabilities but your GPA will give you a shot.
