Will schools see your grades of summer classes you took after applying?

So if you apply in June/july, then take a class from july-august, will they see the grade you got?

or is there just a spot to put that you are taking a class, but won't see the grade until they request senior grades after acceptance

You should send updates to your schools once you receive grades. They won't see them unless you show them.

The school that you ultimately matriculate to will see them, because you must send them your official transcript prior to matriculation.

But @Hopeful_vet is correct, schools will only know about your grades post-primary/secondary and pre-matriculation if you choose to let them know about them in the form of an update. If your grades are good and it boosts your GPA at all, I recommend updating the schools after your fall semester.
