It depends on what you are going to do in those 2 years....what are your plans?

We need more background than that. What's your sGPA, your previous MCAT's, your extracurriculars.

I know that being a few years out of school doing interesting things will definitely help your application. Whether it's research, teach for america, a different career. Many things can help you stand out.

The one bit of data you did give us, your 3.62 GPA, will definitely not keep your out of med school however.
