Winter Break and Med Schools

Perhaps someone can help me out w/this. When do med schools usually get back from winter break? Also, would they be reviewing apps during their breaks? I haven't heard from half my schools about interviews and/or rejections and I was wondering if this was normal. Thanks a bunch!


PS would it be wrong to call the med schools just to check or should I just be more patient and wait a little more?

Most medical schools come back from winter break in early January. Mine usually started Jan 2 - Jan 4. I think most admissions committes would be back to work the first week of Jan as well.
