I got into the country today, checked my mail and discovered the nice Harvard rejection letter in my mail-box. Question is; should I wipe my @ss with the letter? or should I just burn it? Please post your thoughts. I've been deliberating intensely over the issue and figured I'll come here for some help with the decision.

Do what my friend did....burn it up..then mail the ashes back to the admissions office with a note saying "You reject me??? NOW I reject YOU!"

burn it of course, don't you remember the whole antrax thing?

using it to wipe could make things quite complicated. One can never be too careful

I can understand myself being rejected, but I can't see why they rejected you. Harvard would have been a better place with you in it. Don't let it bother you, cause it's truely their loss. I think I'm now definitely leaning towards wiping it.

Keep it! When I was at WashU, there was talk of a very successful MD/PhD researcher who had in his office his WashU MSTP rejection letter framed.

We should all combine every rejection letter to make a hughe bonfire in front of AMCAS' main office in DC.
