I am under the impression that the NJMS waitlist is ranked, and so if you're ranked hihly, there should be nothing to worry about. That means getting somewhat regular updates from Dr. Heinrich about the school, many of which I thought are impressive. If you do get these emails, just keep your fingers crossed.

Getting those emails from Heinrich doesn't mean anything. I'm not ranked at the top of the alternate list (all I've been told is that I'm at the upper to middle part of the list) I think he sends them out to ALL applicants. Does anyone know if they've finished officially ranking everyone on the list?

From what I understand, they do not even begin to rank the list until after May 15th.

ok, this is just a thought, but since i've been told that i am in the middle of the list, i feel as though they rank you in the order that you've been interviewed. for example, i had my interview in the beginning of february. maybe those that were waitlisted in december or january are at the top of the list. i think this b/c njms interviews those with really good stats at first, and then the move down the line. i don't know, does anyone else know about the ranking??

I believe it's ranked by some method.....but alas, another school has caught my eye <img border="0" alt="[Lovey]" title="" src="graemlins/lovey.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[Lovey]" title="" src="graemlins/lovey.gif" />

Hi mellow - I spoke to you a few weeks ago about NJMED. I'm glad to hear you have more options, that's great! Good luck to everyone who is still in the waiting game....(myself included)
