I'm a Biology major taking Biochem, Logic 101, Parasitology, and Stats at the moment
Parasitology requires a lab, and I'm also taking a 1 credit music class

I'm also enrolled into Orgo Lab II at the moment and really thinking about dropping it. I haven't been doing very well in it, and it's just been a real pain with shadowing and work in the picture as well.

This is a 1 credit course, I was wondering will the W really hurt me in any way?
Of course I'm going to take it again next year, but it's been bothering me....

If it's your only W, then probably it won't hurt you, since you have to take it again anyway. If you have a pattern of Ws, then you'll have some explaining to do.

In all honesty

Would it look better to take it and get a B

or drop it (first and only W) and retake it next year to get an A

A 1 credit B looks better than 1 credit W, because you won't have to explain the B, but you may have to explain the W during interviews.
