I'm in!! 😀 I just got a call from the 4th year student who interviewed me at U. Kentucky last Saturday and I'm going to be in their class of 2006!! I can hardly believe it! Boy, when people say UK moves fast, they really mean fast!! 😀 <bounces off the walls!>

I'm still up on cloud nine! I found out this morning that I got a perfect score on my first quiz in organic, and my baby slept perfectly all through class! I know the good luck can't last forever, so I'm going to really enjoy it! 😀 😀

Hey Raina-
Nevada is not my top choice. At this point only 3 schools could drag me away from Tahoe and the slopes: Tulane, Pitt, or USC, none of which has contacted me at all yet, although I have been complete at these places since early Sept. Nevada is nice because of cost ~$9K/year and proximity to some really good snowboarding, and alot of my undergrad chums go there as well. We shall see what happens. Anyhow, it feels great not to be in limbo anymore. Congrats again and good luck at UK!

I am actually a Nevada resident. I just moved to San Francisco in July to do the lab thing at UCSF while I apply. And yes, Nevada takes very little out of state people (about 5 out of 52), most of whom are WICHE or have parents living in Nevada.

Congratulations, Raina! I remember the awesome feeling I got when UK called to let me know I had been accepted. The same feeling you must be experiencing right now! It was such a high! My best advice is to ride this high for as long as possible. It is not too often that you get the chance to feel this damn good and it be legal.

Congrats WSUreds on Cincy! I've still not heard from them, but at this point I'm more interested in UK anyway. It just fits my situation better. I do love the Cincy area though...it's a great place to be!

I'm still tickled pink, but the realities of relocating are starting to hit hard. Anybody else getting the relocation-jitters? It's the whole find-hubby-a-job-sell-the-condo-buy-a-house-and-move thing...I just hope it all goes smoothly.
