Word from AMCAS on August submitters

Was told that the wait for people who submitted mid to late August will be more like 6 weeks, not 4. They are starting to get swamped. I was told not to expect to get verified in 3-4 weeks even though they have all my transcripts.

I would bet it will be more like 8 weeks, since it's been 5 weeks for the July people, and you can usually rely on AMCAS to be wrong about this sort of thing.
