Hi,

I do not have work permit.I want to know can I work on a voluntary basis(dental assistance) or does that violate my status.Also,I read in this forum that we can do some research before we join dental schools ..I want to know how to go about this.Plz do suggest.

I believe you can volunteer as a dental assistant. The important thing is that you do not earn anything off it in cash or kind.
