News Story, Mass. General Cardiologist Murdered

Could it be that the doctor was having an affair and this resulted from it?

Still, this is a very disturbing story...

I work in the immediate area (ie. almost directly above where this happened). As if what happened isn't bad enough, it's extremely depressing to think that someone would do this in a HOSPITAL with many sick and elderly people in the immediate area.

I guess I was just naive enough to think that this wouldn't happen in a hospital by a health care worker...It kinda lowers my faith in humanity a notch...

BTW, the love triangle thing is probably just a rumor, since no news agencies have reported on it. I'm sure we will be hearing more on this soon...

wow, 3 posts before anyone posted something negative and critical! must be an SDN record. 😀 There is a female doctor at my school with the same last name as the doctor who was killed, and she is also married to a physician and has 2 daughters, so everyone thought she was the widow at first until the widow's name was released.. a bit scary and close to home I'll admit.. and for anyone who wishes to attack me for "being glad" that Dr. McGovern at Tufts wasn't the one who had her husband killed, that is BS and petty, of course I wouldn't wish it on anyone, including the woman who was widowed..

I work in a lab at mgh and I was disturbed to hear this too. 🙁
