I here ya, medicinesux, and agree with you on many (most) things, but I think that all is not lost with regards to paying off loans.
Of course, with nurse practitioner hoards at the gate and Obama pushing for socialism, things may come to an end very fast.
Work like a resident in a place that isn't saturated and you'll likely blow away the median MGMA salaries. Do this for 3-4 years post residency, while living nicely (above resident) but not necessarily large, and you'll have your debt paid off and THEN some.
