would these count towards the science gpa?

hey guys,

i'm trying to get some opinions on this matter..would these courses count towards a science gpa.. a course titled "The Science of Food" (yes i know it has the word science in it, but my advisor said it all depends on the school), or a course called "science, technology, and the society"?

I know that many food science classes are based on chem & bio chem. If that was the case with that class I would say yes.
