Okay, so the situation is:

I recently finished my undergrad (in psychology). And yes, I am another pre-med hopefuls. However, my science GPA is really low. I have O-chem left, though, that I plan to take at a local junior college soon.

Now this is what I want to know:

I really want to go to medical school, but with my undergrad gpa and science GPA not being so steller, I was thinking if I should get another Bachelor's degree - in Biology, this time. And hopefully I can pull my GPA up. Plus, I was thinking, geting another Bachelor's will open doors for more job opportunities (since I already have a BA in Psych.). Hence, even if I don't get into med school right away, atleast I'll have better job offers.

What do you guys think? Is it worth it? Has anyone familiar with this?

What is your GPA? Maybe it's not as bad as you think. Where you going to apply?

I'm kind of in your situation, (see my recent post) I don't know whether you should get a bachelor's in Bio for job opportunities, maybe it would be a good idea to raise your GPA but...in my job searching experience I've found that there are very few good jobs for biology majors, I'm guessing you would have to really have some connections to get a good job, I have a bio major right now and the best paying job seems to be either pharm sales or medical device sales, both of which are nearly impossible to get into without previous sales experience, and other jobs such as research assistants are payed very very low.
