Schools aside, which would be a better place to live in your mid 20s?
This would more-so be during dental school. So definitely would not be bringing in $1.5M lol.If the goal is to save money, not go into tremendous amounts of debt, and live a comfortable lifestyle: Pitt.
If you are bringing in 1.5+ million...San Fran would afford you a decent lifestyle.
Haha, I figured! This would more-so be during dental school. So definitely would not be bringing in $1.5M lol.
Honestly I have no idea. Lol that's why I asked the question. I have no experience with either city other than from the time spent there during the interview.School aside, SF... Is there even a competition?
One place experiences snow and the other doesn't. Pretty easy
I'm biased because I spent a good chunk of my childhood growing up in the bay area... SF.
It's definitely not as warm as you'd think there, but you can live in affordable places down the BART (bay area rapid transit, like a light rail/trolley/train thru the whole bay) if you don't mind a longish commute everyday.
San Fran is the gayest city in the country lol
Google it if you don't believe me
Yeah and what about Pittsburg?SF is damn cold and windy
Yeah and what about Pittsburg?
It's like yeah LA is hot. But I will take that any day over Phoenix
Btw I think I just came across your account on DT..
U can date all those cute asian girls in San Fran
I'm from NC. So not really similar to either place haha.I interviewed at Pitt and have visited SF before. Both are pretty cold and windy cities, but Pittsburgh is definitely cheaper and is also a young city. Where are you from?
Would you be alright with flying to and from school when you wanted to go back home?I'm from NC. So not really similar to either place haha.
With how much work school is gonna be I didn't really anticipate going home too often. Because a 7-8 hour drive isn't super easy either. Honestly I just want to pick the place where I feel happiest and most comfortable but it's hard to choose haha.Would you be alright with flying to and from school when you wanted to go back home?
Why are people still treating like Pittsburg "cold" is the same as SF "cold"?
It's 25 degree and snowing in Pittsburg right now (with lows tmr at 7 degrees)
It's 60 in SF...
