Would you sign a contract that includes unassigned call?

I have a contract offer for 300+/year but it includes unassigned call at 1 out of 2. I've been told that I should avoid admitting people at all and stay at a consultation basis only. This is a rural hospital, and they need coverage.
Would you take unassigned call, or should I keep it at consultation only?
