I was wondering what the rule is on prepping a class II on, for instance sunday and then filling it on monday, or does it all have to be done on the same day?

You can prepare and finish the restoration on separate days. Once the preparation is finished that day, it must be graded and a temporary restoration must be placed. The floor examiner will check the temporary and sign the form. On the day of the restoration, the floor examiner will check the temporary again and sign the form before attempting to place the final restoration. DO NOT REMOVE the temporary without the floor examiner's signature or else you would get zero for the restoration.

Wreb exam is only friday sat and sun, there is no monday.
you have to finish everything by sunday.
I wasn't sure if that was only example, or you really attempted to do a prep. on sundy and fill it on monday.
