Writing down notes between verbal and Bio sections

During the test, on your break between Verbal and BS, can you use scratch paper to write some things down for use on the biological section. For example, I know that during the tutorial period you have 10 minutes that you can use to write out formulas and such before PS begins. Can I do this for BS during the break?
