anyone grade their practice sections and go 'what the hell kinda question is that!?!?' when i did the 7th test i found myself saying that about 5-6 questions.. . I only found about 4 questions that i felt i legitimately got wrong because of poor reading and/or reasoning. The other 5-6 I was like 'there's no way they can ask these questions on the actual MCAT, this is some bulllll'

is this why people do better on the real thing than EK 101?? bc of these bullish questions???

Meh, i could be a ******* feeling the pressure of taking the exam in almost a month

This thread could be re-titled, "Verbal Reasoning: WTF?" Whether it be TPR, Kaplan, AAMC, or EK (of which I have sampled some of all) there are always correct answers that are dependent on reader interpretation. Pick the best answer? What should I do if there are two equally 'best' answers?

This is probably the hardest skill to acquire, but the MORE correct answer is going to be the one that parallels the author's arguments, ideas, or evidence (which would be explicitly stated or strongly implied). The incorrect but deceiving answer would most likely draw conclusions that couldn't be made within the context of the passage (for example, bringing in outside knowledge to the passage, or referring to things not stated nor implied in the passage). Easier said than done though, since it's very subtle.
