I am starting to study for the spring MCAT and am wondering what score I should target for MD schools? I'm planning on applying next cycle. Thank you!

Junior: 3.22/2.76 (*My junior year GPAs dropped because of illness/ hospitalization.)

Postbacc: 3.98/3.98 (48 credits)

State of residence: NJ

Race/ethnicity: ORM

Undergrad institution: T30 (4 gap years)

Clinical experience:
-Volunteer: 500 hrs (free clinic + hospital unit)
-Paid: 2000 hrs (medical receptionist + clinical trials CRC)

Research experience:
-Volunteer: >1000 hrs (several poster presentations, research rewards)
-Paid: 4000 hrs (health disparities CRC position, 1 potential pub)

Shadowing:
-150 hours (primary care, multiple other specialties)

Non-clinical volunteering:
-900 hours (public health community outreach project, ESL teacher, museum tour guide)

Leadership:

Yep. 510 for state schools, 513 for low-tier and some midtier, 515 for midtiers, and 520+ for a puncher's chance at top-20 schools.
