MD Yale Email Invitation to Apply?

Hi ya'll, I'm a current MD applicant and recently received an email from Yale inviting me to apply. I haven't gotten emails like this from many schools, so I was just wondering whether or not they tend to mean anything. Thanks!

Its probably an automated email that doesnt mean anything. Apply if you have the extra money but dont think anything of the email.

I remember a bunch of people of all MCAT ranges got that email. It doesn't mean anything, they just want your money, sorry.
