Yale OMS Noncategorical internship for the 2020-2021 academic year

Yale-New Haven Hospital is pleased to offer a one year non-categorical internship position in the section of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for the 2020-2021 academic year. You can find information about our program below

Roles of the intern include:

- Dentoalveolar surgery in the outpatient clinics

- Coverage of major operating room cases at Saint Raphael and York Street campuses of Yale-New Haven Hospital

- Responding to consults for maxillofacial trauma and orofacial infections



Didactics:

- Simulated anesthesia emergencies for OMS

- Comprehensive oral and maxillofacial pathology seminar

- Oral and maxillofacial surgery topics lecture series

- Surgical anatomy and cadaver lab (hosted by the Yale School of Medicine)



Conferences:

- Weekly OMS case conference

- Interdisciplinary dental implant conference and literature review

- Orthognathic surgery conference

- Craniomaxillofacial trauma conference
